Social Programme

Optional dinners will be proposed on November 2 and 3. Dinners will be proposed with traditional Amazonian food and music. Before and after the symposium, tours of various durations and destinations will be proposed to discover the beauty of the Amazon landscape.

A tour is proposed on November 4 : visit of Combú island (morning and lunch, fee 120$)

Boating along the Guamá River banks among the famous popopós until the Combú Stream, considered the 1st River Gallery of the Amazon, the result of an art collective led by graffiti artists under the project of Sebastião Tapajós Jr. Visit to Dona Nena´s cocoa plantation and organic chocolate factory. Walk through the Amazon forest ecosystem. Lunch based on local fish in typical riverside restaurant, with free time for swimming and enjoying nature (includes transport to and from hotel).
