TRANSPORTATION

We will provide daily transportation for all event participants, with buses departing from the hotels listed on our official list:

The transportation service will be available for both the trip to and from the event, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout the entire program.

The buses will run between the hotels and the event venue at scheduled times each day. Detailed schedules and the itinerary will be provided closer to the event.

VACcINE

According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health for vaccination of travelers and international travel, available in full at https://www.gov.br/saude/pt-br/assuntos/saude-de-a-a-z/s/saude-do-viajante/vacina-para-viajantes, there is no requirement for proof of vaccination for entry into Brazil.

VISa

For updated information on visa requirements for citizens of your country wishing to enter Brazil, please refer to the General Visa Regime Chart. Do not leave this step to the last minute, as the visa application process may take time. Ensure that all necessary documents are in order to ensure a smooth trip.

CURRENCY

The local currency in Brazil is the Brazilian real (R$). It tends to stay relatively stable, usually around 0.18 US dollars or 0.16 euros.

Cash can be withdrawn from red “24 horas” ATMs located at the airport, supermarkets, pharmacies, and many other stores.

International credit cards are widely accepted in the city but may not be accepted in isolated areas visited during tours.

WEATHER

The temperature in Belém remains hot and stable throughout the year, ranging between 24 and 32°C daily (https://weatherspark.com/). Rain will be rare during the event period, which will take place during the so-called “Amazonian Summer”, though there may be a shower in the afternoon.

Stay hydrated at all times and don’t forget to pack lightweight clothing. Check the weather forecast before traveling.

Energy

Brazilian electrical outlets are compatible with the two models shown here. If your equipment is of another model or if you are not sure, remember to bring an adapter.
