Submission Guidelines
UPDATED SUBMISSION GUIDELINES (April 15, 2025)
Each submission must be a full paper with a maximum length of six pages. If accepted, the paper will be published either in IEEE Xplore or in the ISPRS Annals.
Accordingly, the authors must decide beforehand on which platform they prefer to have their paper published, if accepted.
Therefore, the authors should have their paper formatted at submission time according to one of the two (mutually exclusive) options:
- Either using the manuscript templates for conference proceedings by ISPRS, available here, if they intend to have the final version published in the ISPRS Annals; OR
- Using the manuscript templates for conference proceedings by GRSS, available here, if they intend to have the final version published in IEEE Xplore.
All papers, irrespective of their format, will be subject to the same rigorous scientific review procedure. If accepted, the authors will be required to provide the final version of their paper in the same format selected at the time of the submission for upload either to IEEEXplore or to the ISPRS Annals.
NOTES :
- The cost of the publication will be covered by the conference.
- Submissions will be made through the ConfTool system.
A significantly improved and different version of any LAGIRS proceedings paper (8+ pages) may be submitted, after the conference, to either any of the ISPRS journals OR to a special issue by the IEEE J-STARS journal, for peer-review evaluation and possibly publication.
Full paper submitted to ISPRS ANNALS, not approved, will be sent to ISPRS Archives.
